Getting Started

1.    Click Start, Programs, Microsoft PowerPoint.

2.    Click Blank Presentation. Click OK.  

3. Choose the blank slide. Click OK.

4. Choose Format.  Choose Slide Design.  Look at the templates and choose one.

Insert Text

n   Click Insert. Select Text Box.

n   Click Format, select Font.

n   Choose font, font style, size and color.

n   Click OK.

n   Type text.

n   Save.

Position Text

n   To move text box, drag the cursor over the box until a 4-point arrow appears.

n   Hold down the mouse button and drag.

n   To resize a text box, drag the cursor over the box until a 2-point arrow appears.

n   Hold down the mouse button and drag.

n   To set text, click outside text box.

Insert Clip Art

n   Click Insert.

n   Select Picture.

n   Select Clip Art.

n   Choose an image. Click Insert.

n   Save.
