Holes by Louis Sachar

Stanley's a young man who was overweight and didn't have any friends. He was arrested twice. He told his teacher that the bully of the school that was smaller than him was teasing him. The police thought that Stanley stole the $500 shoes. He went to Camp Green Lake for doing that. Stanley thinks that he's going to have fun at the camp, but it's not. He has to dig one hold per day, including weekends. If he finds anything interesting, he'll report it to the counselor. I liked this book because Stanley's great-grandfather, grandfather and dad are all named Stanley.
