Capturing a Screen Image

Sometimes you may wish to capture, or take a picture, of your screen's image.  This would be helpful if an error message came up that you wanted to share with the CNT or the Web Help Desk.  Or, you might wish to copy part of an Internet page instead of printing the entire page.

1.  Hold down the alt and print screen keys.  Hold down the mouse and outline the area you would like to capture and release the mouse.  Your computer will automatically hold the image until you paste it into a document.

3.  You may paste the image right into an application such as Microsoft Word, save the document.  You may attach the document in an email or use it later.
